Two-Day Course in Organics Class  Curriculum  Day 1 Introduction to Organics by Jeff Frank Organic Turf Programs by Scott Anderson Micorrhiza Organic Tree Care Response by Carl Wennerod and James Sottilo Biological Responses to Insect Problems First Day - Introduction to Organics, microbes and the Biology of the soil, The Soil and Health, Atoms and the Sun, Plant Health Care(PHC), Soils, Roots, chemical fertilizers, Composts, turf care, Toxicity and bio-remediation, water conservation, Programs, products and books to read, growing with the moon, greenhouse applications, estate care golf course management techniques, Bio-dynamics, growing healthy crops and its implications for human health, Response vs reaction. Alternatives to toxic genetic chemicals. Organic lunch at noon. Scott Anderson will discuss turf programs for the homeowner with costs and ideas to overcome typical problems after lunch. Bio-dynamics Instruction at 4 pm. Day 2 The "Findhorn Garden" and flowers, roses, native plants, trees, weed control, insect control, and disease control done ORGANICALLY. Marketing made easy, Product explanation. Organic lunch at noon.
